∧ Single Particle Potential in Hypernuclei by an OBE Hyperon-Nucleon Interaction

• Single particle energies of a ∧ particle in ^4_∧H(^4_∧He), ^5_∧He, ^<17>_∧O and ^<41>_∧Ca are evaluated within the framework of the effective interaction theory by employing the Nijmegen OBE interaction. Essential features observed in (K^-,π^-) reaction experiments are successfully reproduced. Spin-orbit splittings for ∧, ？ and nucleon are discussed in the light of the underlying interaction and relevant many-body effects.
