The tensor analyzing power T_<20> in d^^→+p→^3He+π^0 reactions around the threshold energy is investigated by the invariant-amplitude method, and is found to give us important information on the pion production and absorption mechanism.Other polarization observables which include spin-spin correlations are proposed as valuable sources of further information on the reaction mechanism.
