The relativistic Faddeev equation in the NJL model is solved numerically in the ladder approximation for the nucleon and the delta states. The baryon masses and the electro-weak properties of the nucleon, i.e., g^<(0)>_A, g^<(3)>_A, the magnetic moments, and the charge radii, are studied. The effects of meson exchange interactions between quarks in the Faddeev approach are analyzed perturbatively, and an improved perturbation theory is proposed in order to include the higher order effects.
