In scattering of deuterons at intermediate energies, effective interactions due to virtual breakup to spin-singlet states are derived by the two-step model with adiabatic and closure approximations, resulting new corrections to the tensor interactions of T_R-, T_L- and T_P-types. Important contributions of the former two to analyzing powers are suggested.
