Limiting Behaviour of Inclusive Baryon Spectra : Inclusive Reactions and Urbaryon Rearrangement Diagrams. VI

Single-particle distributions of protons and hyperons in proton-hadron collisions are examined. The shapes and energy dependences of them are described by "an interpolation formula" proposed previously, by assuming the dominance of the H⨂P type which exhibits the limiting behaviour in the proton fragmentation region. Especially, the behaviour of them at small x agrees with the double-Regge aspect of the formula. In addition to the H⨂P type, the diffractive contribution is important for the proton spectra at x〜1, and the development of a dip in the spectra at x≃0.9 is due to the decrease of the latter with increasing energy.
