The honeycomb sandwich constructions which have the characteristics of the low density and the high rigidity, have been used in many application fields such as aircrafts, vehicles, architectures and so on. The investigations on the bending characteristics of the honeycomb sandwich construction are very important for the evaluation of the structural design. The authors carried out the three points bending tests on the effects of the adhesive materials for the honeycomb sandwich constructions, and examined the bending characteristics and the fractural behaviors. The analytical results by composite beam theory and Hoff's theory were found to agree well with the experimental results obtained by three points bending tests for honeycomb sandwich constructions using hard adhesives.
