<Short Communications>Diagnosis of Abdominal Tumors by Angiography and Ultrasonography

Angiographic and ultrasonographic examinations were performed on abdominal tumors. Tumors showing cystic pattern on ultrasonography were avascular or hypovascular on angiography. Ultrasonographic studies were contributory especially to such tumors. Hypervascular tumors showed gross internal echos on ultrasonography. Ultrasonography adds useful information concerning the tumor size and position, and whether the tumor is cystic or solid, though angiography is the most profitable and reliable method for the diagnosis of abdominal tumors. Ultrasonography is also an easy procedure for the follow-up. Both examinations have proved to be complementary with each other.
