Synchrotron-radiation-based conversion electron and X-ray Mössbauer spectroscopies have been realized by single-line pure nuclear Bragg reflection from an oscillating 57FeBO3 single crystal at the Néel temperature. These developed methods allow one to perform surface- and bulk-sensitive Mössbauer spectroscopy with excellent beam properties: fully recoilless, high directionality, very small beam size, and nearly 100% linear polarization. Some performance studies, features, advantages and potential benefits of the developed techniques are described.
