Dielectric Properties of $x$Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3–($1-x$)Ba(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 Complex Perovskite Ceramics

The dielectric properties of $x$Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3–($1-x$)Ba(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 ($x=1$, 0.75, 0.50, 0.25 and 0, BMT–BMN) ceramics were investigated. The mode-frequency shift correlates well with the monotonic decrease of the real part of the dielectric constant of these materials with decreasing BMN concentration in the 0.1–0.6 THz range. The imaginary part of the dielectric constant is unaffected by substitution of Ta for Nb in BMT-BMN materials in 0.1–0.6 THz range.
