We developed a miniaturized DC current switching hub controlled by a personal computer. Through using a transient current switch circuit we suppressed the inevitable arc discharge of breaking contacts. Therefore, conventional AC relays and AC switches could be used for the same DC current level. As arc ignition and arc noise were suppressed, relays, switches, control circuits, and the microprocessor were arranged in a small switching box. Four outputs each of 50V/5A from a 50V/20A power source were controlled by a PC. The power flows can be measured, controlled, and recorded for security and energy conservation.
