本学における学生ボランティア支援の現状と課題(幼児教育科)

There are increasing numbers of universities and junior colleges eagerly supporting students volunteer activities each year. Our junior college also tries to boost student volunteer activity and surveyed the activity of the college student to find what support is necessary. Features of the volunteer activities revealed in this survey are followings: 1) Students of our college do more volunteer works than national average of other students. The activities down as the college student are mainly related with their major fields. 2) It is occupations of student life and luck of information about volunteer that prevents student to participate volunteer work. 3) Students without volunteer experience at all have clearly less interest in volunteer activity and also luck in the knowledge and adviser about the activities. Study from the survey and on the present status of supporting system in our junior college shows, as important issues, the enhancement of volunteer activity information and offering of chance for students to experience volunteer activities.
