The results of current distribution obtained by M. G. Drouet and his cooperators was only line integral value of the current density distribution instead of real current density distribution, this paper adopted slit method to measure the raw data, and then one important algorithm based on principle of integral equation was applied to the raw data in order to made out the approximate current density distribution in the moving arc root at cathode surface. The result obtained showed that the peak value of J(r) deflected slightly from the center of the arc root.
