Developing countries like India are trying to emulate Chin'a policy of flexible labour market and creation of special economic zones for the foreign investors by evicting peasants who would join the ranks of flexible labourers willing to accept whatever standards the employers may like. Labour market reform is being promoted by all development finance organizations like ADB or World Bank. The effects of these reforms as already experienced in both China and USA would be increasing misery of the labourers. The alternative is to accept the "Toyota Way" or the essence of the Japanese system of labour management.
