Lasioglossum (Evylaeus) allodalum EBMER et SAKAGAMI is solitary, vernal, univoltine and polyectic in northern Japan. The brood cells are arranged end-to-end serially. The presence of this nest type in the Halictinae is reviewed in connection with architectural and social evolution in the subfamily.
