(1) Japananus aceri (Matsumura, 1914) [Fig. 1] This is a rare species found in Hokkaido. The male in unknown yet. I could examine the Professor S. Matsumura's type specimens (2♀♀), from which I could draw the figures shown as Fig. 1. It may be noteworthy that the present species has the following features different from the genotype of the Genus Japananus Ball, 1931, Platymetopius hyalinus Osborn, 1900; the vertex which is conspicuously constricted before eyes, clypeus amplified distally and two claval veins which are not confluent about the middle and only combined by two cross veins. (2) Usuironus limbifer (Matsumura, 1902) Comb. nov. [Fig. 2] When I examined the internal characters of the male genitalia, I found that the present species belongs to the Genus Usuironus Ishihara, 1953 (Genotype: Athysanus ogikubonis Matsumura, 1914). Although the Genus Usuironus has the gonopore which has an opening in the traverse groove in the apical extensions of aedeagus and seems to be related to the Genus Handianus Ribaut, 1942, the spine-like setae on the male plates are irregular in the former while they are uniseriate in the latter [Ribaut, 1942, loc. cit. p. 263]. The two known species of Usuiromus are easily seperable from each other by the remarkable coloration of the head and of the fore wing. (3) Omaniella suturalis (Matsumura, 1914) Comb. nov. [Fig. 3] The Genus Omaniella Ishihara, 1953, is a genus established as making Omaniella flavopicta Ishihara, 1953, the genotype. Although this genus is allied to the Genus Scleroracus Van Duzee, 1894, the frons of the latter is wide and in length shorter than the distance between ocelli. The three species which are known in Japan are seperable from one another by the key as follows: 1 (4) Head and thorax above mostly blackish, scattered with light brownish markings. 2 (3) Posterior margin of fore wing including clavus conspicuously infuscated. Apex of aedeagus bifurcate and each branch with a short basal process ventrally.…O. suturalis (Matsumura, 1914) 3 (2) Posterior margin of hind wing not remarkably infuscated. Apex of aedeagus bifurcate and each branch with two short basal processes ventrally…O. flavopicta Ishihara, 1953 4 (1) Head and thorax above mostly light brownish, scattered with blackish markings. Aedeagus similar to that of suturalis.…O. striatulus (Fallen, 1806) Comb. nov. [Fig.4…from a European specimen]. (4) Mimotettix kawamurae Matsumura, 1914 [Fig. 5] This is a peculiar species and the genotype originally designated and monotype of the Genus Mimotettix Matsumura, 1919. Based upon the Professor S. Matsumura's type specimen (a Formosa specimen), I could draw the figures shown as Fig. 5 and make the following redescription of the genus. Head as wide as pronotum; vertex longer medially than next the eye; anterior margin rounded to frons, with three black narrow traverse bands. Eyes comparatiaely large. Ocelli almost in contact with adjacent eye respectively. Frons longer than the distance between ocelli. Lateral frontal sutures convergingly convergent. Clypeal suture distinct. Clypeus somewhat constricted near base. Genae conspicuously incised below eyes. Fore wing with contrastingly and definitely delimited pale opaque spots; appendix well developed; outer anteapical cell about two-thirds the central anteapical one, lying obliquely with respect to costal margin and truncate distally; inner anteapical one open basally, clavus with two cross veins, one between claval suture and outer claval vein and the other between claval veins. Hind wing with the third apical cell acuminate basally. Male plates tapering and bluntly pointed distally, with numerous long, filamentous setae marginally in addition to the long spine-like setae which are uniseriate. Pygofer setose, distally rounded. Tenth segment not sclerotized dorsally. Connective Y-shaped, distally wider. Styles with apices which are passing beyond connective recurved and sharply pointed laterally. Aedeagus si
