Electron and atom number densities of rartiall>r ionized kr>mton behind thereflected shock waves were measured bar usins a two-wavelength Mach-Zehnderinterferometer. Measurements were carried out for flows with an initial pres-sure ;.=1.5 Torr and incident shock Mach numbers A#,xl2. Electron andatom number densities in ectuilibriurn were measured to be (2.00i0.09)x10"cm=' and (9.580.7)x10"cm-' resr>ectivelv. These values are in mood asre-ement with those given by theory.
