For the relax?ttiorx jcrocess indtrced Icy the infinite-length step-edge difl'ttsion, these qtuantities show the "trnix'er's;tl" scaling behaviors. Hoxvever,lcoth of' the trniversality ;tnd the scstlirng beh?tvior disajcjcearr fccr the finite-length difl'trsion. Toverif'y tlte restrlts quarttitalively, we jcerf'orutaed tlae [NIotate-Carlc>c;tlctrl;ttions for the solid-on-solid step terrace-step-kink taaodel. The restrlts f'rotta the N/Iorute-C?vrlo c?tlculations agree xviththe analytic restrlts f'roraa the HIS joicttrre very well.
