A simple cotrpled oscillator systena with chemotaxis is introduced to study unorphogenesis ofcellular slinae naolds. The model successftrly explains the n'zigration of pseudoplaszaaoditrrn whichhas been experimentally predicted to be lead by cells with higher intrinsic frequeuacies. Restrltsobtained predict that its velocity attains its tnaximtrraa value in the interface region betxveen totallocking and partial lockizag and also stnggest possil*Ie roles played by partial synchrony dtrringtntmlticellttlar developrnent.
