Chiral Vector Phase of a TWo-Dimensional Antiferromagnet with Dipolar Interactions on the Trianular Lattice

XX'e have perfornaed a Monte Carlo sitntulation of an isotropic Heisenberg antiferro?taagnet withdipolar interactions on the triangtrlar lattice. The naodel exhibits three phase transitions atIKTI, TKT2 and T.. A Kosterlitz-Thouless-like phase of the spins initially appears at 'Z'KTI anddisappears at V'KT2. The low-teraaperatttre ph?tse occtrrring below T. is a long-range orderedphase which is characterized by the ordering of' the chiral vectors for every plaqvnette and theexponential decay of' the spin correlsrtion. This novel phase is realized as the restrlt of thecooperation between the exchange and dipolar interactions.
