Magnetic Properties of the One-Dimensional Random Ising System of Higher Spin

The one-dimensional random Ising system of higher spin S has been investigated in terms of power series of concentration of magnetic atoms p. The specific heats and the zero-field susceptibilities for S=1 and 3/2 and for arbitrary p are obtained. The specific heats of the random ternary system composed of two kinds of magnetic atoms and non-magnetic atoms are also obtained.
