The plasma naode in the supercondvucting state is studied within the random phase approxima-Lion. It is proved that the plasma oscillation in the limit of zero moznenttum (q) is not affectedby the superconductivity. This statement itself has been obtained so far under some specialconditions where energies of the plasma frequency and the superconducting order parameter aremuch different. In this paper, we clarify that it holds true at all temperatures irrespective of(l) the magnitude of the plasma frequency, (2) the symmetry of the order pararneter, and (3)details of the systenu, e.g., dimensionality and the layered structure. We also show that theplasma sum-rule is satisfied even in the superconducting state, which states that the spectrumof the density-density correlation function in the lirnit q -} O is dominated by the plasma modeonly. Although the phase fluctuation of the order parazneter cottples with the charge one, thecollective phase oscillation, so-called the Carlson-Goldman rnode, does not contribute to thespectrum of the density-density correlation function in this limit.
