Crossed transport )oltenomena of heat and rnatteu' are tlaermodynamically discussedby using transported enthalpy and entropy, and f]?ose of transport, xvithout usinglinear kinetic equations. The steady-state thermod)'naxnics developed here is effectivein dealiuag with tltermo-osmosis, thermal diffusion auad thermoelectricity. It is impor-tant to distinguish between transported tltermal qtuantities and those of transport inany case. All of tla<: results obtained agree exactly xx'ith corresponding expressiouas oflinear nonequilibriurn thermodynamics based on tJve Onsager tlaeorem of reciprocily.Quasitlaerrnodymaarnic ambiguities are couasistently elixninated by iuatroducing entrojvygeuaerated internally, d..S', in harmony witlt tlae second law of t1?ermodynamics. At tl?esame time, a few points confused by many authors are corrected.[transported entl?a1py and entropy, enatlaalpy ax?d entropy of transport, crossed l[ transport plaenomena, steady-state thet'modynaunicsI
