Transforming fluxes of aqueous tons and of water in an apparatus system intothose relative to water within the linear theory of nonequilibrium thermodynamics,we have expressed the thermal diffusion coefficient in a difference between thoseof water and of the electrolyte, together with the diffusion coefficient in an in-variant form under the transformation in ideal dilute conditions. Thereby theheat of transfer may be formulated in an exact agreement with the reductionrule proposed by the present authors, by which individual ionic thermal diffusioncoefficients are evaluated for 17 aqueous univalent ions.
