The temperature (7') dependence of lattice pararneters and the pressure effect onthe charge-density wave (CDW) transition temperature T. for V.Te. with Nips-likecrystal structure are reported. The thermal expansions of lattice parameters a(T) andb(T) below T. deviate upwards from their linear variation above T., while both c(T)and p(T) hardly change in the temperature range between 20 K and room temperalure, In the pressure (P) range up to 10.9 kbar, the )cressure dejvendence of T. can bedescribed by the expression, 7-.(P)=(195.8f2.l)e>cp [ -(0.02580.002)Pl K with Pin kbar.charge-density wave, pressure effect, therrnal expansion, electrical resistivity
