Polarization Measurement of Coherent Bremsstrahlung from a Single Crystal of Silicon. II

The linear polarization of coherent bremsstrahlung was measured at 270∼950Mev by comparing one-dimensionnally projected angular distribution of converted symmetric-pair electrons with the theory. The measurement of a certain point was calibrated to the reference point during each short period, signigicantly reducing the fluctuation in the measurement. The obtained polarization was in eacellent agreement with the theory within the assigned error of ±0.02∼0.05. The polarization for the case of null injection angle of the incident electron beam to the crystal axis [110] was also measured at 350 and 950 MeV. The obtained polarizations were zero in agreement with the theory.
