NMR Study of Transferred Hyperfine and Exchange Interactions in Ferromagnetic Semiconductor EuLiH_3

The zero field "'Eu, 'Li and 'H NMR in a cubic perovskite ferromagnet EuLiH,(T.=37 K) have been observed as functions of temperature and pressure. The "'Euand 'Li NMR frequencies are 123.4 and 7.95 MHz at 4.2K, respectively, corre-sponding to the effective fields H.= -266.4 and -F-4.80 kOe, and a broad'H NMR isobserved in the frequency range between 20 and 46 MHz. The nearest neighbour ex-change constant of ,/.=0.83 K is obtained by fitting "'v(T) to the spin wave theory.The transferred hyperfine (thf) field at Eu nuclei is derived as H.= -f5.2 kOe per n.n.Eu" ion by estimating the core polarization field from the hyperfine splitting of theEu" ESR in diamagnetic SrLiH,. The pressure dependentce of 8H,/8P=0.246k0e/ kbar for "'Eu is attributed to an increase of H. under pressure.
