• The nuclear magnetic resonances of "Mn nuclei have been observed in theintermetallic comr>ounds RMnz and (Yr-.Gd,)<sMnzs where R is Gd, Tb, Hoand 0$.x$I. The Mn moments in these compounds were estimated to be larger(0.8-1.3 p.,/Mn) than those obtained from the magnetic measuremezats of R5Mn.3(0.4 us/Mn). The h>'rerfine fields at "Mn nuclei in RMnz are exnressed as thelinear relation of (g -1)./. The Gd-contribution to the hyperfine fields at "Mnnuclei in (Y.=.Gd.)5Mn.. may be 13 kOe at most.
