Oscillatory solitary waves are analytically examined in a resonant system between long gravityand short capillary waves. Applying the procedtrre of the normal form analysis to the interactionequation for steady state, weakly nonlinear arnplitude equations are derived. Solitary wavesolutions of the eqtrations are shown to be in good agreement with ntrmerical results in both longand short wave modes, as far as the wave amplitudes are small. Integrability of the interactionsystem is briefly disctnssed in the parauneter region where the soltrtions exist.
