A possible origin is proposed on the anomalous optic?rl absorption which is observed in ferro-magnetic metal La) .Sr.MnO3. It is argued that the interband transition within e. orbitals isresponsible for the absorption. The orbital dependence of transfer integrals is crucial to rnakethe transition allowed.
