Magnetic Excitations and Spin Correlations in Two-Dimensional Percolating Ising Antiferromagnets

The magnetic excitations in two-dinaensional percolating Ising-type antiferrornagnets,RbzCo.Mgu .F4 (c : 0.60 and 0.70), were sttrdied by pulsed-neutron scattering. The peaksdue to Ising-cluster excitations were clearly observed far above Tg. Their intensities exist evenat 5T? and 2'V'N for c : 0.60 and 0.70, respectively. This reveals that the characteristic timeof the spin correlation in percolating networks is much longer than that of netutrons travelingthrough the systerns, and, theref'ore, the spins can provide rnolecular fields at the neighboringsites, even in paramagnetic regions.
