The "Br nuclear quadrupole resonance freqtxencies and the spin-lattice relaxationtimes, T., in tetramethylammonium tribromocadmate were measvured in the ferro-and the paraelectric phases. The magnitude of the splitting of the resonance lines inthe ferroelectric phase depends on temperature as A POC (T.- T )""'. Sharp decrease ofT, was observed in the vicinity of the transition point and was attributed to criticalfluctuation associated with the ferroe:Iectric phase transition.NQR, spin-lattice relaxation, ferroelectricity, phase transition, critical exponent
