Two-dimensional slow viscous flow around an inclined fence on an infinite planeis investigated on the basis of the Stokes approximation. A formal expression forthe flow is obtained by solving a pair of simultaneous Wiener-Hopf equations.Force and moment exerted on the fence are calculated and features of the floware discussed.
