Two-dimensional slow viscovrs ttnifornu flow past a lattice of equal parallel and equidistant flatplates is investigated based on the Stokes' approximation. The plates are at rest and the flowis generated by a pressvrre difference between two sides of the lattice at infinity. By solving athree-part XViener-Hopf equation, analytic expression for the stream fvtnction is obtained for aparameter a, where a is the length of the plate. Drag force exerted on the plate is calculated andpressure and shear stress distribtztions are shown. The asymptotic form of the drag for a -+ 0is obtained by considering a pair of dtmal integral eqvrations. Local analysis for the flow rxear theedge of the plate is also included.
