Two problems on the two-dimensional slow viscous flow due to the rotation of abody with cusped edges are considered on the basis of the Stokes approximation. Anexact formal expression for the flow produced by the rotation of a star-shaped bodycomposed of finite hinged plates of equal length and angular separation is obtainedby use of the Wiener-Hopf technique. And an explicit expression for the flow due tothe rotation of a hypocycloid is given. Special attention is paid to the flow near theprotruding cusped edge for each case. The torque exerted on the body is alsocalculated.
