Anomalous Temperature Dependence of Electrostrictive Coefficients in K (Ta_<0.55>Nb_<0.45>)O_3

A significant temperature dependence of the electrostrictive coefficients ofK(Ta...,Nb...,)0. has been observed in a narrow temperature range above theferroelectric Cuire point (T -7'.<30'C). The reciprocal permittivity versus term-perature relation deviates from the Curie-Weiss law in the same temperaturerange. A simple model is proposed based on the polarization critical-fluctuation.
