The energy spectrum equation due to the modified zero-fourth-cumulantapproximation is solved numerically for large Reyvaolcls numbers 7<=1O'm-'10'and dealt xvith analytically. The energy spectrum is found to satisfy differentsinailarity laws in three wavenuunber ranges. In 1.he energy-containing rangek=0(1), it satisfies an inviscid similarity law and t;ukes the lc "' intertial f'ormat higher wavenuunbers. In the intermediate range k=O((vt) ""), it takes thek " and k -" fornas at lower and higher wavenumbe?'s respectively. In the one:rgy-dissipation range A=(II)(e"'r-"'), it satisfies Kolrrtogorov's similarity law andtakes the asymptotic form exp ( -bk) for A-+cO. The energy, the skewness, themicroscale and the microscale Reynolds number are calculated numeric:ally,and their similarity laws are derived analytically.
