Velocity distribution in the axisymmetric laminar inlet-flow through a circular tube is obtained, umder the assnmption of "almost similarity" of velocity profiles. Theoretical velocity distribution curves obtained agree fairly well with the experimental one in a rather limited region near the entrance where the approximation is valid.
