Analysis of Satellite Lines of the GR1 Band in Diamond by Quadratic Jahn-Teller Coupling

The quadratic Jahn-Teller effect has been studied in the intermecltiate linearcoupliuag region in the E-e system. Reduction factors, E-A separatic>ua and thezero-phonon intensity for E=T tramasition have been calculated by dictgonalizingthe vibronic Hamiltonian including both the linear and the quadratic: coupling.From comparison of these calculated results with experimental d?tta ota theGRI band in diamond, values of vibronic parameters for the GRI c:enter havebeen extracted.
