Magnetic Excitations in an Itinerant Antiferromagnet

The magnetic excitations in an itinerant antiferromagnet are investigated byusing random phase approximation. It is shown that electron-hole pair excitationsexist in a low frequency and long wave region. The spin waves decay into thesemodes and have an intrinsic width. Importance of the effect of the anisotropy isalso pointed out.
