It is shown that veetorial phenomerua- couple thermodynamically with thescalar phenomena. 'This result is contrary to the well spread belief in the field ofirreversible thermodynamics. Transport coefficients concerning the diffusion andthe thermal conduction across a strong rnagnetic field are calculated in thepresence of the deuteron-triton fusion reaction on the basis of the gas kinetictheory. When the reaction takes place, the diffusion coefficient increases andthe tlvermal conductivity decreases. Effects of the reaction exceed those of theCoulomb collision as the temperature is high enough.
