Photo-meson production form deuteron is treated phenomenologically, using the "impulse" approximation. It is found that the distortion of the nuclear wave function is essential and that its effect is taken into account adequately by "shape independent approximation". Production of negative mesons is diminished by the effects of Coulomb interaction between two protons in the final state.
