Impurity-Induced Ordered Phases in Quasi-One-Dimensional Spin-Gap Systems

Experimental results of the impurity-induced ordered phases in CuGeO_3 and PbNi_2V_2O_8 are reviewed. It will be shown that the occurrence of the impurity-induced ordered phase is a common nature of the quasi-one-dimensional spin-gap systems irrespective of half-odd integer or integer spin values of magnetic ions in host materials.
