Neutrino Cooling of Neutron Stars by Percolating Quarks

The neutrino emissivity of percolating quarks due to URCA process is calculated. It is shown that the resultant emissivity is almost comparable to that of pion-condensed matter. As a result, if nucleons overlap and quarks percolate in a neutron star, it also cools rapidly.
