Nuclear effects in nucleon decay and neutron oscillation inside a nucleus are examined. Enhancement of nucleon decay rate in nuclei through virtual meson exchange is evaluated with hard core effect taken into account between two nucleons. It is shown that the nucleon decay rate inside a nucleus is enhanced by 30 to 60 per cent compared with the decay rate of free proton when the proton decays into a lepton and a pion. The momentum spectrum of the emitted lepton is also calculated taking account of the meson exchange process as well as the fermi momentum effect. The neutron oscillation and annihilation in nucleus is estimated by using the observed or calculated scattering length of NN^^- system at low energy. From the present limit of stability of nuclei the lower bound of free neutron oscillation time is found to be 10^7 seconds.
