Characteristics of wave functions of charmoniums (η_c, J/ψ, ψ and χ) near deconfining transition are sutied in a framework of potential model assuming precursory behavior of string tension. Physical effects implied in broadening of wave function near critical temperature are discussed. Survival and mutual transition probabilities of charmoniums involved in quark gluon plasma are considerably enhanced. It is suggested that for complete melting, longer life of quark gluon plasma than 4〜5 fm/c is required.
