Occurrence time for quantum scattering by a one-body potential is examined in terms of the eikonal approach. The scattering turns out to be enhanced for an attractive potential and to be retarded by a repulsive potential. The angular dependence of the occurrence time proves to be inconsistent with that of the classical occurrence time. This time is discussed in relation to free particle motion, and the occurrence position is noted for the forward scattering.
