Minkowski Stochastic Quantization of the Vector Field Based on a Langevin Equation with a Kernel Factor : Particles and Fields

We define a distribution functional for the complex Gaussian white noise vector in Minkowski space. On the basis of it, we set up a simplified Langevin equation with a kernel factor, and formulate the Minkowski stochastic quantization of the Abelian gauge field. An equilibrium Fokker-Planck distribution and a generating functional are derived explicitly. It is pointed out that introduction of a kernel factor is important to guarantee causality of the propagator.
