Strange-quark condensate in the nucleon (proton) is examined on the basis of the SU(3)-Numbu-Jona-Lasinio model incorporating the U^A(1) anomaly, which gives rise to flavour mixings. It is shown that the flavour mixing due to the anomaly solely gives small values for <N|s^^-s|N>/<N|u^^-u|N>=0.07〜0.10.
