p-p Phase Shifts and Diproton Resonances in the Mass Range from 2.1-2.8 GeV. II : The ^1D_2 (2.17 GeV) Diproton

On the basis of a new phase-shift solution as summarized in paper I, the ^<1>D_2 (2.17GeV) diproton state is shown to be represented as a Breit-Wigner resonance at least in the pp elastic channel. Its resonance parameters are evaluated to give M 2.17 GeV, Γ~50-100MeV and Γ_e1/Γ~0.1. A rounded cusp effect existing at the NΔ-threshold is taken into account. This leads to a level shift of the resonance mass of the order of 30 MeV. A variety of structures of existence of ^<1>D_2 (2.17GeV) diproton.
