In a previous note the baryons were assumed to be non-relativistically and strongly bound three-body systems of fundamental triplets, and their mass differences were attributed mainly to rotational kinetic energy differences and partly to spin-orbit coupling perturbations. The present paper deals with a refinement of this idea in the following two points. Firstly the number of low lying mass levels obtained in the previous note is diminished by taking explicit account of the internal (vibrational) degree of freedom of the three-body bound state. Secondly, spin-orbit coupling perturbation calculations are carried out after Derrick's triton recipe; this results in no major change of the conclusions given in the previous note. Through the comparison of calculated mass levels with the experimental data, the magnitude of the ratio of the hard core radius to the range of the potential between two constituents is discussed.
